Care and Maintenance of Your
Vehicle graphics are designs that are printed on and/or cut from vinyl and applied to your Truck, Trailer, Other Business Vehicles, Personal Vehicles, Vans, Buses, Boats or any other application that you may require. Why should you use vehicle graphics for advertising? Simply put; your advertising dollar goes further with the amount of viewer impressions you can generate with your ads. Does Wrap mean my whole vehicle is covered with graphics? Not necessarily. We can design a package that's right for your requirements and your budget Will I be able to see through my windows? Yes, you will be able to see through your windows. We print the window graphic portion of the wrap on a 50/50 see-through film and use an optically clear overlaminate. What if I want to change my logo or phone number on my decals at a later time? No problem! We can solve this by printing an overlay piece that will cover up the old piece, and in some cases we would print the panel piece with the new information. Will a vehicle wrap damage my vehicle’s paint upon removal? Industrial Graphics uses only premium cast media for it's graphics. On a new vehicle or with paint that shows no sign of decay (rust, heavy scratches, etc.) graphics can be removed with little or no adhesive residue after several years. What is the life of a decal or wrap? Premium media offers the highest degree of durability, conformability and performance. The manufacturer's warranty is from five to seven years. What is the process for wrapping a vehicle? Applying decals to your vehicle is a three step process.
What designs work best for vehicle decals? We encourage our clients to focus on the purpose of the vehicle wrap. We have found that simple but deliberate designs work best. The vehicle is a moving billboard advertisement, so the message on the vehicle wrap must be instantly understood. How long does the process of wrapping a vehicle take? Because every customer has different interests, the design stage varies from one wrap to another. Once this stage is finished, our usual production time for print and prep. is approximately 1 week. How long do I need to be without my vehicle? We only need your vehicle for a day or two depending on the size of your vehicle and the size of the wrap you’re after. How much will a decal package cost? The total cost of a vehicle wrap is based on three variables:
We recommend that you not wash your vehicle for one week after installation. Hand washing is best. Avoid high pressure drive-through washes and be careful never to use an ice-scraper. Self serve car wash bays are fine provided that the pressure spray wand doesn’t get within a meter of your wrap.
What is involved in the production stage? After artwork is approved by you, the design(s) are organized and made print-ready. Then your graphics are printed, laminated and trimmed by our expert graphics team. Once we have your graphics ready for installation our team will contact you to book your installation. Please bring us your vehicle the night before the install, CLEAN. We will move your Vehicle inside our facility so all water can evaporate off the vehicle. Depending on the size of your wrap and vehicle, we will need your vehicle for approximately 24 hours. What is involved in the design stage? Communication with our sales and design department is essential to ensure your vehicle wrap is designed properly and deliverers a direct message to the public….your potential customers. A client interview/consultation is our first step. A concept is established during this meeting and a couple of proofs will be provided by our graphics department. Upon approval or “sign – off” on our printed proof, the production process begins. What are the Design Specifications? The design must be done taking into account that the images used need to be high resolution and full size at 150 dpi. Files Accepted:
How do I send in my artwork files? Email can be used to send over files that are under 5MB in size but for large size files we recommend using our ftp server. |
